Support

One person answers this mailbox, and that person also built the product.

support@planreviews.ai

We reply within one business day, Mountain Time, usually much sooner. Billing problems and lost access come first.

Helpful to include: the email address on your account, the project or drawing name, what you expected and what happened, and a screenshot if there is something to see. If a count is wrong, say which symbol and which sheet; we can look at the same drawing you did.

Trial and plans

How does the trial work?

Sign up and you have 14 days with a one-time grant of AI credits and every feature. No card is needed. When the trial ends you can still open and export the projects you saved; uploading, counting and AI steps need a plan.

What does a plan include?

A monthly allowance of AI credits that resets each billing period, plus unlimited vector symbol recognition, review, counting and export. Current prices are shown in the app under Settings → AI credits & plan and at checkout. Annual billing is priced at ten months.

How do I cancel, change my plan or update my card?

Settings → Manage billing opens your Stripe billing portal. You can cancel, switch between monthly and annual, change the card and download every invoice there. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and is not charged again.

Can I get a refund?

Subscriptions and credit packs are generally non-refundable, but we refund charges made in error and periods where an outage on our side stopped you working. Email us within 30 days of the charge. See the terms, section 5.

AI credits

What uses credits?

Only the AI steps: naming symbols with AI, AI verification of a count, and legend reading. An estimate of the credit cost is shown in the confirmation before a step runs, and the exact charge appears on your Usage page afterwards. Finding, counting, reviewing and exporting vector symbols never cost credits, and keep working when your balance is zero.

How do I check my balance or see what I was charged?

The credits chip at the top of the app shows what is left this period. The Usage tab lists every credit charged, granted or bought with the balance after it, every action you took, and a CSV download. If a line there does not match what you did, send us the line and we will look at it.

Do unused credits roll over?

The monthly allowance does not; it resets at the start of each billing period. Credits from a pack or from the trial stay on your account until used. If your plan ends, they are kept too: the app shows them while you are without a plan, and they are usable again the moment you subscribe.

I ran out mid-job.

Any AI step you start without enough credits shows a "buy credits" button in place of the result. A pack is applied the moment Stripe confirms the payment, usually within seconds, and nothing you had on screen is lost.

Counts and drawings

A symbol was missed or counted twice.

Click a mark to remove it, click the drawing to add one, and rename a row from its menu. Every correction is saved with the project and is shown on your Usage page. If a whole symbol type is wrong across the sheet, tell us which one; that is exactly the kind of case that improves the recogniser.

Scanned PDFs are not counted.

Today the service reads the drawing's vector geometry, so a PDF that is only a scanned image produces no rows. Support for scanned sheets is in development; the app can notify you when it ships. If you are not sure whether your PDF is vector, try selecting text in it with a PDF viewer: if the text is selectable, it is almost certainly vector.

What can I export?

A marked-up PDF in which every count is a named, countable Bluebeam Count-tool markup (grouped per symbol and sheet, so the Markups list, totals and Resume Count work in Revu; Acrobat and other viewers show them as annotations). A CAD-compatible DXF in which every detected symbol is a block, built from the lines, arcs and geometry of the vector PDF and inserted at each counted spot on a layer named after the symbol, one file per sheet in sheet inches. The device schedule as an Excel file or a stamp placed on the sheet. The per-symbol and per-sheet totals are on screen in the app.

How big a plan set can I upload?

A PDF can be up to 500 MB, and symbol scanning covers the first 200 sheets of a file; split a larger set into two uploads. If an upload fails, email us the sheet count and file size and we will tell you what went wrong.

Account and data

I cannot sign in.

Sign-in is by email and password or with Google. If you signed up with Google, use the Google button rather than a password. If you have forgotten your password, use the reset link on the sign-in page. Still stuck? Email us from the account's address and we will sort it out.

Who can see my drawings?

Only you, and our support staff when you ask us to look into a problem. Drawings and your corrections are also used, with account details removed, to train our own recognition model; you can opt out of that for future uploads by email. The privacy policy has the full picture.

How do I delete a project or my whole account?

Projects and drawings are deleted from the dashboard. To delete the account and everything attached to it, email us from the account's address; it is done within 30 days and confirmed by email. Billing records are kept as tax law requires.

Reporting a security issue

Email support@planreviews.ai with "Security" in the subject. Please do not test against other users' data; a description or a proof-of-concept on your own account is enough.
